Definition:This is when material that is usually the same colour of the tooth is attached to the tooth. A bond is usually in place to fix or reshape a tooth.This treatment is used when a tooth is chipped, stained, discoloured or worn down to an extent. Also bonding implies the use of a dental cement or glue to attach to items together.
