Decalcification

Definition:this is a term used to describe the loss and lack of calcium in the teeth and bone. This typically occurs when there is a build up of plaque and tartar, which is usually found in some children cases as they do not brush their teeth properly.It also occurs to people who wear braces as it may be hard to reach certain areas on the teeth, whilst brushing.
