Smile Makeovers

People who feel that they need a positive change to their appearance may benefit from our excellent range of smile makeover treatments. This highly effective rejuvenation treatment can be combined with other cosmetic procedures to boost a person's self-esteem and confidence.

Typically included in a smile makeover treatment are dental veneers, teeth whitening and facial aesthetics toning. Each treatment is specifically tailored to each patient to ensure a gorgeous new smile that is all your own.

Dental Veneers - Created from tooth-coloured material, dental veneers are bonded to the face of the teeth with dental cement, giving them a symmetrical, smooth and white appearance. Veneers are one of the key tools in a perfect smile makeover and can be used to treat numerous dental imperfections.

Over time tooth enamel can become worn or teeth damaged by the foods we consume, poor oral hygiene or injury. Dental veneers are an effective solution to restore the proper shade and shape of teeth, covering up stains and discoloured teeth, treating cracks or filling in gaps between the teeth.

People who have discoloured teeth due to acidic foods, consumption of red wine and coffee, smoking or chewing tobacco, can particularly benefit from dental veneers; as do those with chipped teeth or teeth damaged through contact sport.

An initial consultation is the place where we can gauge what it is you hope to achieve from a smile makeover. We listen to your views, expectations, smile worries and then book you in for a full evaluation if you wish to proceed.

At the full evaluation we show you how you can design your own smile and take impressions and photographs of your mouth. This will not only help us in creating a thorough treatment plan, but also give you the opportunity to see what results can be expected from a smile makeover before treatment even begins.

There are different types of dental veneers to choose from, which include Lumineers, Emax Veneers, Composite Veneers, Mac Veneers and Durathin Veneers.

Lumineers - Custom-made from wafer thin dental material, Lumineers offer an aesthetically pleasing solution to more traditional porcelain veneers. Veneers are securely fitted to the face of the teeth. Patients receive a perfectly white and natural looking set of teeth with perfect symmetry.

Emax Veneers - Designed from strongly pressed ceramics for patient-specific results, Emax Veneers are moulded in a hi-tech cosmetic laboratory. Minimal etching is required to prepare teeth for Emax Veneer, after which they are bonded to the teeth using dental cement.

Composite Veneers - Created from the same dental materials as white fillings, composite veneers are smoothly moulded and securely fitted to the front tooth surface using dental cement. Once buffed these veneers give a naturally white, freshly polished smile enhancing look. Composite Veneers are durable for 3 to 5 years in contrast to the 10 year durability of more traditional dental veneers, but are often a great deal cheaper.

Mac Veneers - Moulded from pressed ceramic materials Mac Veneers transform tooth appearance, giving people a smile that they can be proud of. People who have suffered for years because of the condition of their smile can greatly benefit from Mac Veneers.

Durathin Veneers - Created to fit patient-specific dimensions, Durathin Veneers are 0.2 mm thick and require no tooth-etching. Durathin veneers quite easily bond over the tooth surface to enhance facial features and smiles.
