Central London Takes A Stand On Tooth Decay

If you are suffering from tooth decay, there is a good chance that you have not been looking after your teeth enough in central London. The whole idea of brushing your teeth, flossing and using a mouthwash after you eat is to keep bacteria off the surfaces of your teeth and avoid a build up of plaque, otherwise this plaque will start to erode the enamel of your teeth and cause decay. In the early stages, tooth decay will start to show itself in the form of cavities, but as it progresses, these cavities will get bigger and then infect the inside of the tooth- the pulp and the roots. The first you may know about it is when your teeth become sensitive- they can be painful whenever anything touches the surfaces and you may well be in some discomfort from constant toothaches. The remedy is to get to the dentist fast so that you can get x-rayed to identify how bad the decay is and hopefully, all you will need is a filling. But if the decay has got inside the tooth, you’ll need a root canal in order to remove everything from within, have it filled and then capped in order to save it. However, to avoid this in the first place, keep up with your dental appointments and improve your oral hygiene.
