Choosing your Toothbrush in Central London

Oral hygiene has become big business and everywhere you look in central London, the shops are full of weird and wonderful gadgets to help you look after and preserve your teeth and gums and there is nothing wrong with that at all- it’s great that you live in a world that cares for the health of your mouth. Sometime though, it can get a little confusing as getting the right product to suit you may take a bit of trial and error. This particularly goes for your toothbrush, as this is the tool that you will be using most of all to brush your teeth with. If you look around, there are hundreds to choose from, but with a little help from your dentist, you can at least come up with the bristle strength that will not only clean your teeth, but also cause minimal abrasive damage to the enamel of your teeth and to your gums. Once you have settled on the type of bristle, then you can begin your search in earnest for your brush. Hand held ones come in many shapes and sizes: some are angled, some have give, so you should test the water first, but in any case, it is always a good idea to have spare ones lying around in the case of emergencies. Of course, if you can’t be bothered to put in the hand work, you should settle on an electric one and these are magnificent: some rotate, some go up and down, whilst others pulse (great for breaking down plaque and tartar). Once you are happy, you should always manage to get the best out of your brush, just so long as you remember to keep them clean and to change the heads regularly.
