Look after your Gums to Avoid Bad Breath in Central London

It isn’t nice when someone pulls you to one side of the pub in central London and tells you that you have bad breath, you may take quite an offence to it in fact, but once you have got over the initial anger of being told, once you have calmed down a bit, you should ask yourself just why you have bad breath and make sure that you address it immediately. It is generally caused by you not looking after yourself in the first place. If you don’t apply the correct oral hygiene and carry out a reasonable diet, your immune system will take a battering and then your teeth and gums will suffer. Every time you clean your teeth, you are trying to stop the build up of bacteria and acids on the teeth and in the gums. If however you do suffer from bad breath, you are already in a knife-edge situation. It could be that your saliva levels are ebbing and that you may have gum disease- if something doesn’t taste right in the mouth, you can rest assure it won’t smell nice either. It can be stopped if caught early, but you are going to have to put in the effort to ensure that you retrieve the situation. Between you and your dentist, you have to come up with a plan and look at the way you live your life, and then change it on its head to solve the problem. It may take a combination of dental treatments and supreme oral hygiene, but get it right and you can breathe on anyone you like after that.
