Dr Amita Cunningham graduated from University London’s Royal Dental Hospital School of Dental Surgery before progressing into general practice, Dr Cunningham held a series of professional posts, including oral surgery at St George’s and James hospitals, senior house officer with Royal Berkshire Hospital and general duties officer at the Royal Dental Hospital.

Dr Federico Brugnami received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree Magna Cum Laude, from “La Sapienza” University of Rome, in 1991.
After two years in general practice, he joined the Department of Periodontology at Tufts University, Boston, where in 1995 he obtained a Certificate in Advanced Periodontics, the specialization in Periodontology and Oral Implants.
In 1996 he was awarded The Young Investigator Fellowship of The American Academy of Periodontology.
In 1998 he became the first European to be Board Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology.
Dr Brugnami is an experienced periodontist (20 + years) striving for absolute excellence in all aspect of Periodontal Treatment with a special emphasis on implants, bone graft and Esthetic Gum Treatment such as Periodontal Plastic Surgery
In the late ’90s Dr. Federico was also exposed to an innovative procedure that was becoming popular in the States, to shorten and enhance orthodontic therapy (braces). This procedure is called Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics or PAOO (R) or Wilckodontics and involves a bone stimulation that can straighten most patient’s teeth within less than a year.
Dr Brugnami is one of the few clinicians in Europe who is currently Wilckodontics and is a leader, not only in Europe, on the application of this treatment in numerous cases.
His growing reputation on the field was finally recognized when the prestigious Wiley Blackwell publishing company asked Federico to write the first ever published book on the subject. The book was finally published in late 2014 and sold more than 1000 copies worldwide.
Dr. Brugnami is an author of numerous publications in the field of periodontology and implants and recently published a book in multi-disciplinary therapy to accelerate orthodontic movement.

A leading orthodontist in the UK, Dr Giuliana Pecorella graduated from the University of Catania, Sicily, in 2003. Having gained an Honours degree in Dentistry, Dr Pecorella continued her studies, electing to pursue her interest in Orthodontics. In 2007, she was awarded a Master’s degree with honours in Clinical Orthodontics from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome. Two years later, in 2010, Dr Pecorella completed specialist studies in Orthodontics at the University of Cagliari. Dr Inga Vitkute is known for her high attention to detail, as well as a gentle and understanding approach which puts patients in her care immediately at ease. This approach makes her especially popular among nervous or anxious patients and children with special needs.

Baker Street Dental Group’s visiting clinician Dr Michele Recchia focuses solely on endodontics - or root canal - treatments.
Dr Recchia graduated from the University of Verona’s School of Dentistry in 2005. He went on to work at his family-owned private practice in the city and also carried out extensive pro bono work for Verona’s underprivileged population.
In 2007, Dr Recchia continued the practice in Dublin, RoI, where he first became interested in endodontic treatment. He attended root canal treatment training on several courses across Europe before moving to London in 2011 to begin an MSc in endodontics in 2011.
Following graduation from the renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2013, Dr Recchia limited his practice to endodontics and now carries out both surgical and non-surgical treatments as visiting clinician at the Baker Street Dental Group.
Dr Recchia is an examiner for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses. He is also a member of the European, Italian and British professional endodontic societies.

Dr Marios Hadjicharalambous grew up in a family of doctors in Cyprus and found himself naturally drawn to dentistry.
He graduated from the University of Athens in 2010. He went on to practice at maxillofacial and oral surgery unit at Milton Keynes Hospital and in private practice in clinics across London, where he pursued a special interest in implantology, oral surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders and oral pathology.
Dr Hadjicharalambous undertook further three-year training in oral surgery at University College London’s (UCL) Eastman Dental Institute, graduating in 2015 with a distinction. He then went on to practice as a speciality doctor in oral surgery at King’s College Hospital, where he continues to treat complex cases while passing on his knowledge to the next generation of dental undergraduates.
He employs an evidence-based approach to his current areas of expertise, including oral pathology, intra-oral surgery, bone surgery, surgical extractions, and the removal of impacted wisdom teeth and benign lesions.

Dr Ana Bosco graduated from the University of Ribeirao Preto in Brazil in 1990. Having qualified, Dr Bosco spent the next 17 years working in Brazil, providing treatment at private clinics and taking up the position of Adjunct Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Ribeirao Preto (UNAERP) between 1991 and 2001 and the University of Franca (UNIFRAN) from 1998 to 2007.
Dr Bosco chose to pursue a special interest in Restorative Dentistry and completed post graduate study at AORP in 1995 before taking a course in Public Health at UNIFRAN in 2005. In 1995, Dr Bosco also gained a Master’s qualification in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at USP Ribeirao Preto, and in 2010, she completed a Master’s degree in Dental Medicine at ISCSN in Portugal.
Having worked in Brazil and Portugal, Dr Bosco now enjoys living in the UK and she has become a valuable part of the Baker Street Dental team. Dr Ana Bosco has a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and she has a reputation for making patients feel calm and relaxed. She is very friendly and approachable, and she adopts a unique approach to suit every individual patient.
Away from the treatment room, Dr Bosco enjoys spending time with her relatives, looking around museums, reading, travelling, and taking cultural and historical trips.
